Who we are

SOS Children’s Villages is a charitable organisation that provides a family approach to the long-term care of orphaned and abandoned children. We help children who are orphaned, abandoned or whose families are unable to care for them. SOS Children’s Villages gives these children what fate has taken away from them: a loving caring mother (an SOS mother), brothers and sisters, a home – all that is necessary for their full physical and spiritual development. We help teach the children how best to prepare for an independent future as adults.
